We were on Markiza television prime time news last night. Both Milo's and Berdina's phones were going crazy straight afterwards.
A lot of publicity is being generated here and there will be nowhere that TRT goes either formally or informally that they won't be known. For the adventurous computer geeks you can go to www.markiza.sk and try and find the news article. The date of screening was Wed 10.06.09.
As a team we have had a couple of days to recuperate and rest and orientate ourselves to our surroundings Piestany city in particular.
Everywhere we go people (politely) look and give us a friendly 'Dobre den' or 'Ciao' or 'Ahoj'
There is no McDonalds in Piestany but there are a number of other food choices in town that will appeal to conservative and adventurous palates alike!
We perform again this Saturday and Sunday afternoon at the farm and at the football stadium at halftime on Sunday.
Events looming for when the full contingent gets here over July/August include:
A performance and meet and greet in Bratislava with the Prime Minister and Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Culture and others
An appearance on the Slovakian version of the Breakfast show with interviews and performance of items over the three hour duration of the show.
A festival performance in Piestany, and another in the Czech Republic....
